ARMATS is currently offering projects to final year B.Sc, M.Sc, B.Tech and M.Tech students in different areas of biological science.

ARMATS is conducting regular training and Workshops by adapting unique teaching and training methods and modules. The participants will be exposed to the particular area through lectures by eminent Scientists from different fields of biological sciences in addition to imparting demonstrations and hands on training.

Project that requires relatively large amount of fund, people and activities to be performed is known as major project, on the other hand the project requires relatively less amount of fund, people and few activities to be completed is known as minor/mini project. We provide optimal environment for students to carry out various projects.

Training is typically designed to teach new skills or knowledge to employees, while internships are designed to provide hands-on experience to students or recent graduates. Training programs are usually shorter in duration than internships.

Value Added Courses are those that are designed to raise students' standards above and beyond the levels specified in the academic curriculum. Value-added courses are included in the curriculum to improve students' employability.

PhD research guidance can help students navigate the challenges of conducting research and completing their degree. It can also help improve the quality of research and save time and effort.

A laboratory is a work space environment where scientific experiments, analyses, and research are carried out.

Bio Analytical services delivers accurate, unbiased analysis of research performance by combining high-quality data sources with technical and research metrics knowledge.

Keeping in view the mission of ARMATS Biotek, we are in the process of producing bio-formulations of beneficial microbial cultures with or without botanicals and other organics. These eco-friendly products have tremendous importance in Crop Production and Crop Protection. Bio-formulations would help the farmers to improve the crop productivity and reduce the input costs. It will also boost export of various agricultural commodities. In addition, ARMATS also indents to develop novel products and processes to use in various industries such as pharma, food, leather, detergent, etc.

Major Project : 3-6 months Minor project : 1 month
Internship : 15 – 30 days
Training : 1 – 4 weeks
Workshop : 1-2 weeks

Services offering

Natural products chemistry is focused on the study of small organic molecules, especially secondary metabolites, produced by organisms such as bacteria, fungi and plants. Natural products have proven to be rich sources of medically- and industrially-important bioactive molecules.

Nanotechnology refers to the branch of science and engineering devoted to designing, producing, and using structures, devices, and systems by manipulating atoms and molecules at nano scale.

Microbiology is the study of the biology of microscopic organisms - viruses, bacteria, algae, fungi, slime molds, and protozoa. The methods used to study and manipulate these minute and mostly unicellular organisms differ from those used in most other biological investigations.

Food technology is a branch of food science that addresses the production, preservation, quality control and research and development of food products.

Enzyme technology is one of the corner stones of Industrial Biotechnology. The research in this area involves both fundamental and applied enzymology, biocatalysis, molecular modelling, structural biology and diagnostics.

Bioinformatics is a tool that helps researchers decipher the human genome, look at the global picture of a biological system, develop new biotechnologies, or perfect new legal and forensic techniques, and it will be used to create the personalized medicine of the future.

Marine biotechnology is the creation of products and processes from marine organisms through the application of biotechnology, molecular and cell biology, and bioinformatics.

Molecular Biology is the field of biology that studies the composition, structure and interactions of cellular molecules – such as nucleic acids and proteins – that carry out the biological processes essential for the cell's functions and maintenance.

Cell culture is the process by which human, animal, or insect cells are grown in a favorable artificial environment. The cells may be derived from multicellular eukaryotes, already established cell lines or established cell strains.

The Department of Cancer Biology performs lab-based research investigating the molecular pathways driving cancer. We use discoveries about the basic functioning of these pathways to develop novel cancer diagnostics and precision treatments.
